There is a new subscription in place from OpenAI and it is the 'ChatGPT Plus' that will prioritize subscribers to get access to a faster service, especially during peak times when many people are using it. While the free and basic plan from ChatGPT will still deliver the same service, those who cannot wait for its loading time or queues may gain instant results for a certain fee. 

OpenAI will charge it via a monthly subscription of $20, and this will allow users to get the AI text generator's premium offers to streamline the experience for their requirements.

After asking people to enlist on a waitlist via Google Surveys, the latest premium service for OpenAI finally arrives to help people get better access to its AI text generator service. 

The company is now introducing ChatGPT Plus, and it is a paid premium subscription service for its top AI tool in the market, which initially debuted as a free service. 

As per OpenAI, this service will give premium users expanded access to its services and would be available to users even at peak times. 

The paid subscription for $20 will prioritize ChatGPT Plus users for their needs, giving them instant results despite the load of people already using its AI tool.

Users May Still Access ChatGPT for Free

Do not worry, as this does not mean that the basic version of ChatGPT will be unable to access anymore, as there will still be a part of it that will remain free of charge for users. However, do not expect to get the same results or access as before, as the company would most likely encourage people in upgrading to the premium subscription for better access. 

OpenAI has been vocal about asking the public for money in using their AI text-generating tool, especially as it already costs them a few cents per use. This is the company's first step in monetizing its service, one that could help it achieve a new record valuation in the coming years. 

OpenAI's ChatGPT 

For several months now, ChatGPT is a stellar name in the tech industry for what it brings to the public, especially as it centers on a free AI text generator that can whip up content in under minutes. With its massive operations now, a former Google executive claimed that the OpenAI technology may lead to Big Tech's search engine downfall. 

In its success and fame now, it enjoys the backing of a massive name in the tech industry and recently extended its partnership with the company with a multi-million dollar investment. Microsoft is an avid believer in its technology, and it aims to use its Azure to help the company expand more of its tools, and in turn, help Microsoft products to receive AI integration from OpenAI. 

The growth of ChatGPT is massive, and it is not yet seeing years on its run, with many people already believing in its capabilities and what it will bring in the future. Now, there is another offer from OpenAI that will help expand its access for its beloved users, but first, they would have to pay $20 per month to get premium access to the AI.
