Google Pixel 6a Price Discount

The Pixel 6a, which was the best-selling phone of Google last year or in 2022, is now available for a more affordable price.

The discount goes as high as nearly 50 percent, as per a recent report by Phone Arena.

The renowned tech giant debuted the Pixel 6a nearly six months ago, making it an alternative option for those who want a cheaper mobile device than the Pixel 7 series.

During the Black Friday and Christmas sale last year, the Pixel 6a received massive discounts, hitting its all-time-low pricing.

But this 2023, we are seeing a more significant price cut for the top-selling phone of Google. The standard Pixel 6a now rocks a huge $200 discount or up to 45% lower than its typical retail pricing.

So if you get your hands on the Pixel 6a right now, you may just save up to $200 right off the bat. This extra money could be used to buy accessories, such as cases and perhaps the Pixel Buds Pro, which sells for $200.

But is the Pixel 6a actually worth buying?

The Google Pixel 7 Pro phone is displayed at its launch in New York on October 6, 2022. - Once a minor player in the smartphone business, Google confirmed its new ambition to penetrate the highly competitive market.

XDA Developers notes that one of the biggest advantages of the Pixel 6a over the Pixel 7 is none other than its more competitive pricing. The latter starts at $599, which is still cheaper than other Android flagship phones like the all-new Samsung Galaxy S23.

On the other hand, the 6a only sells to the tune of $499, and with its new all-time-low price discount, it is now more affordable than ever.

For their cameras, both Google phones rock a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. However, the latest flagship features a 50-megapixel primary snapper, whereas the budget phone only supports up to 12 megapixels.

The Pixel 7 also has an edge when it comes to taking selfies with its 10.8 MP shooter against the 8 MP of the 6a.

Despite that, both devices come with USB-C support, water and dust resistance, 56 connectivity, and an aluminum mid-frame.

The two Google phones feature options like Night Sight, Face Unblur, and Magic Eraser.

However, the 6a misses out on features like Audio message transcription and real tone improvements. But you can get your hands on it for only $249 at Best Buy.
