Elon Musk and Steve Jobs have some similarities, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak says in his recent interview.

The co-founder of Apple also took a swipe at the alleged dishonesty of Musk, saying that the billionaire tech entrepreneur "robbed" him over Tesla self-driving claims.

Elon Musk and Steve Jobs are 'Very Similar:' Apple Co-Founder

Wozniak, who designed the early Mac computers of Apple, pointed out similarities between Tesla and SpaceX CEO Musk and Apple's Jobs. He made such remarks in his recent interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin of Squawk Box on CNBC.

The Apple co-founder blurted out that "Elon Musk and Steve Jobs are very similar," as per Business Insider. But he then gave a disclaimer, adding, "I don't like to say that."

Jobs has been the face of the most valuable firm in the world, Apple, for so many years. The former big boss of the iPhone maker has been heralded for his significant role in the tech industry.

And now, some observers could not help but compare Jobs to Musk. But this time, no less than Wozniak admits that the two business leaders are somewhat alike.

The Apple co-founder says they are similar, as "they both want to be seen as the important person." He adds that the two are "like a cult leader."Wozniak further notes that the similarities between the two tech bosses end in their "ability to communicate," where he claims "a lot of people will follow them no matter what they say."However, he claims that the Tesla CEO is far from the entrepreneurship skills of Jobs, which helped Apple become what it is today.

Wozniak Believes Musk is Dishonest

According to a report by Fortune, Wozniak admitted in a recent interview that he bought a Tesla electric vehicle (EV) in 2016. And he did so due to claims of Musk that it could fully self-drive.

So he went on to spend $50,000 to upgrade his electric car to equip it with self-driving sensors and cameras. But despite that, his EV still could not drive autonomously.

And as such, he notes that Musk has "robbed" him and his family.

He also took a swipe at the honesty of the Tesla CEO. He claims that "a lot of honesty disappears when you look at Elon Musk and Tesla."

Musk has yet to respond to the latest remarks of the Apple co-founder.
