In order to complete Fortnite's Most Wanted challenges and unlock the game's valuable rewards, you will need to increase your Heat Level.

Raise your Heat Level in Fortnite

To raise your Heat Level in Fortnite, you must be more notorious in the match. Here are several ways to do this, as first shared by Eurogamer.net:

Attack Cold Blooded enemies. If you attack and beat Cold Blooded enemies, your Heat Level will go up.

Open loot chests: Your Heat Level will also go up when you open loot chests around the map.

Defeat Cold Blooded Bosses: When you beat a Cold Blooded Boss, your Heat Level will increase significantly.

Take out more than one opponent. Beating more than one opponent fast will also raise your Heat Level.

Open Vaults: If you use a Vault Keycard to open a vault, your Heat Level will go up a lot.

Your Heat Level goes up when you do these things since they make you more notorious in the match.

How to Track Heat Level in Fortnite

In Fortnite, your Heat Level is shown from the minute you enter a match. A match will trigger the display of four empty flame icons in the top left corner of the screen ().

As you become more notorious in the game, these flames gradually fill up. When the corresponding icon fills up, you have attained that Heat Level. During one-on-one duels, the game will show only your Heat Level.

On the other hand, team matches make it simpler to fill up because the displayed Heat Level reflects the combined stats of your entire team.

Fortnite Heat Level Perks Explained

There are four Heat Levels in Fortnite Most Wanted, each with unique perks gained each time you reach a new level. The higher your Heat Level, the more bonuses you receive. Here are the perks for each Heat Level as explained by Epic Games:

• Eliminated opponents drop more Bars.
• Your movement speed increases by 15%, and you'll regenerate up to 100 Health out of combat.
• You gain 20% movement speed and can regenerate up to 100 Health and 50 Shield outside of battle.
• You gain 25% movement speed and can regenerate up to 100 Health and 100 Shield outside of battle.
