In 2022, the independent space agency announced that the Philippines was supposed to be the first country in South East Asia to receive Starlink.

However, this didn't happen because Japan was able to have access to Starlink, making it the first ASEAN nation to have Starlink broadband service.

Now, Philippines-based consumers can also take advantage of the Starlink internet because it finally rolled out in the Asian country.

NTC (National Telecommunications Commission) Philippines previously approved SpaceX's request to use commercially roll out its terminals as classified products to the consumer.

This means that the internet equipment of Starlink can be used as a customer premise and not terminals for radio station licensing.

For those who are interested to purchase the Starlink internet service, they can expect broadband download speeds between 100 to 200 Megabits per second.

This high-speed low latency satellite internet is expected to drastically change how Filipinos enjoy WiFi speeds, especially since the Philippines is among the Asian countries with very slow internet speeds.

How to Order Starlink in Philippines?

If you will check the official website of SpaceX's Starlink and search for the Philippines, you will see that the internet service is already available throughout the country.
