Illegal Crypto Mine in Massachusetts

Crypto mines are mostly hidden from the public and law enforcement as in some states, it is illegal to operate these as they consume massive amounts of electricity from the grid. However, in a recent bust in a Massachusetts high school, a secret crypto mining facility hidden inside of a crawlspace was discovered when looking for a faculty member.

The police managed to find the said mining facility after following a trail of wires leading to it, discovering the misplaced equipment from the school believed to be lost for some time now.

Allegedly, it is made by Nadeam Nahas, a 39-year-old faculty member who was also missing from his arraignment meeting last week.

Now, there is an additional warrant against him for the alleged operation of the crypto-mining facility underneath the school.
