Exciting things are taking shape in the virtual world as Meta centers on its development, but it also puts massive focus on the devices needed to deliver this experience via its Quest lineup. In the recently obtained information from sources, Meta's AR/VR roadmap reveals many experiences to look forward to in the future, until 2027.
This includes different wearables that would add value to Meta's virtual experience for all, also integrating the augmented reality features available and coming soon from the company.
Meta's AR/VR Roadmap Reveals Plans Until 2027

The Verge claims that it obtained a Meta presentation that details the company's roadmap for AR and VR developments for up to four years, until 2027. And among the most iconic things present here is the list of the upcoming devices that it is working on for the world to see and use soon, all in focus to deliver a new virtual experience.
Meta Reality Labs is planning for a Quest 3 VR hardware that will be significantly smaller in size but perform almost twice as better compared to its predecessor. This device will be pricier than the $400 price tag of Quest 2.
Next would be the smartwatch with a neural interface that would pair well with Meta's AR/VR devices for better controls.
Lastly, the company unveiled its latest AR smart glasses that will have controls via the smart bands, coming by 2025.
What to Expect from Meta Quest's Future?
There is a batch of new devices coming in from Meta and it entails a significant lineup for its AR/VR future under the Quest brand, to deliver more of what it envisions for the future. Among those is the previously revealed "wrist-based interactions" that point to a smartwatch that the public might finally see in reality.

Moreover, it is strengthening its wearables to integrate more of the augmented and virtual reality it aims to deliver.
Meta Quest and its Devices
Meta's Quest hardware is undeniably among the most famous devices in the market now, especially as it offers an immersive experience for its many users, as well as many products available. Tencent previously offered a deal with Meta to bring the famous Quest 2 VR headset to China, one which the famous Chinese tech company would market.
There are different features also available to the Meta Quest thanks to its regular updates and developments available for all users of the device.
Apart from games on the platform, Quest's VR experience also offers workouts in the virtual space, and it recently allowed Health Connect from Google and Android to integrate its data from workouts.
The Quest Pro is the latest there is from the company, but there are already talks behind a new VR device that would succeed the wearable to expand more of what Meta has to offer. This is part of the roadmap that was recently obtained, among other devices including AR glasses, a smaller VR headset, a smartwatch for VR, and more.
