In a not-so-pleasant news for fans and gamers, the famous sequel game, "The Wolf Among Us 2" is seeing a delay to its supposed release date this year, and it will be coming in 2024 for all to experience. The company recently confirmed this, claiming that they need more time to sort out everything from the game, including its story and experience.

Telltale Games regrets to tell this not-so-fairy tale game delay, especially as gamers crave the story of Bigby and his leadership over at Fabletown.

'The Wolf Among Us 2' Sees Delay Until 2024

Telltale Games announced via their latest tweet that there would be another delay to their development of the upcoming sequel to its famous comic book adaptation. "The Wolf Among Us 2" which is supposedly arriving this year is facing significant production issues that push it further up to next year for its arrival.

The company recently confirmed this as well to IGN, claiming that this move is to avoid cramming the game in time to meet gamer expectations and eventually flopping with rushed work. It also wants to avoid getting burnt out from its development.

"The Wolf Among Us 2" also moved from Unreal Engine 4 to UE 5, another pointed cause of its delay.

However, it assures that the development of the game will continue, and would not be left behind with the looser time frame they set.

When to Expect 'The Wolf Among Us 2'?

"The Wolf Among Us 2's" trailer was released last year and gave gamers another thrilling mystery that puts Bigby and the rest of Fabletown at the edge of their seats. That being said, it only shows the amount of work and effort the team worked in this development to push the game to the public.

Telltale did not clarify when in 2024 will they deliver the game, but it is slated for next year, should there not be another delay announcement.

Telltale Games 'The Wolf Among Us'

Telltale Games saw significant success with its many pop culture adaptations to games available in multiple consoles, and among these include "The Walking Dead," "The Wolf Among Us," and "Game of Thrones."

The company's offers center on a different approach to gaming, and it includes episodic storytelling and experience in their titles.

However, if one is closely following Telltale, there were multiple announcements of "The Wolf Among Us" sequel coming soon.

There was one claim by the company that it would release the game by 2019, also seeing a delay for its supposed release by 2018.

Almost four years later after its last delay announcement, the game is not yet here, and it is already 2023 or almost ten years since the game first debuted in 2013 to 2014. For now, gamers and fans of the famous Fable comic series would have to hold out for a little longer to wait for Telltale to complete the game, hopefully, the last delay of the series.
