ChatGPT has been a hot topic to discuss these days, especially that AI-powered tools are a boon or bane. For instance, it can be used for answering homework, yet DetectGPT is there to identify if an article is generated by machine learning.

Artificial intelligence is not only limited to such stuff since it already reached the world of anime and manga like in the case of "One Piece" author Eeichiro Oda who got curious about it.

The popularity of ChatGPT has reached the world of anime/manga and even "One Piece" author Eeichiro Oda tried to see how it's capable of.

With a huge selection of e-books believed to be written by AI on Amazon, many people are growing skeptical if what they're reading is still written by humans.

It's hard to imagine how AI can be a double-edged sword when it comes to this. While it provides a lot of convenience to the authors, it can replace a writer instantly.

To Oda's surprise, ChatGPT is a highly useful tool that he found to be exciting to use. According to a report by The Strait Times, the author of the ground-breaking manga noticed that he's coping really hard with writer's block that's why he decided to look for inspiration.

To address his concern, he asked for some help from ChatGPT to see what it will write as the next "One Piece" chapter.

Since he can't come up with the upcoming story for "One Piece" next week, he requested the AI tool to think of a "super good" story for him.

To his surprise, ChatGPT instantly generated a bizarre-sounding spinoff he never expected to see. The story talks about new friendships and of course, new battles with new foes. "Shadow King" was mentioned to be one of the enemies.

While the AI finds the story interesting with a fresh story plot, Oda thinks that it's boring. He added that there's still a better idea that can replace it.

'One Piece' Meets Alien and Witches

Luffy, the main protagonist in "One Piece" is projected to meet an alien who will join his pirate squad, according to the response of ChatGPT.

The madness does not end up here since the rubber man is destined to fight alongside his new friend. Their goal is to rebuild their home star that the evil spaceship destroyed.

Oda found this answer to be quite aligned with his taste. This might hint that future chapters will feature this kind of storyline.

24/7 Anime Streaming With AI

According to Dotesports, an AI has been producing random "anime" on Twitch for a long time. While the initial results are quite good, they did not turn out well as expected.

The viewers said that the dialogue between the characters does not make sense at all. What's worse, they are not related to one another.

Although the whole AI-generated anime is nonsensical, some people think that the voiceovers are impressive because they depict the feelings of real humans.
