In addition, the Era 100 includes auxiliary-in support, allowing you to connect additional devices, such as a turntable, via the optional Sonos Line-In Adapter.

Alternatively, according to the same report, the Sonos Era 300 is a much larger speaker designed to provide a wide range of sound, including height speakers, for a more immersive experience.

This model also includes support for Dolby Atmos, which creates a three-dimensional sound experience and improves the overall audio quality.

In addition, the Era 300 features dedicated stereo drivers and a Quick Tune calibration routine that uses the onboard "smart" microphones for a more personalized sound.

Specs and Features

Both models are compatible with Amazon Alexa and Sonos Voice, with Google Assistant to follow later. The Era speakers can also be used as a stereo pair or rear speakers in a Sonos home entertainment setup. When two matching subs are added, the Sonos Era 300 also has rear height capabilities for a full 5.2.4 layout.

The Era 100's digital amplifiers and tweeters produce excellent sound quality. It delivers clear, fine-tuned, and detailed audio across a wide frequency range, with deep and punchy bass ideal for music, movies, and gaming.

Furthermore, the Era 100 is dynamic, with a diverse array of connectivity options that allow you to easily stream audio from your phone, tablet, or computer. It also supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Apple AirPlay 2, giving you various ways to listen to music and podcasts.
