The Apple Music Classical which is a music streaming app for classical song listeners will soon be launching later this month.

With the acquisition of Primephonic, the Cupertino tech giant has cemented its position in the market for this service centered on curated playlists of nostalgic instrumentals and music.

Apple has announced that its standalone classical music streaming app will be available with no hidden charges for existing Apple Music subscribers on March 28.

If you love the piano compositions of Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, you might surely love streaming other classical songs from your smartphone.

Apple previously said that its plans for the official release date of the app remained unclear so we still have no clue about its possible features. 

According to TechCrunch, the music streaming app is now visible on the App Store at the time. Pre-order for the Apple Classical Music app is now up for interested subscribers.

So far, the only thing we know is that the launch date for the app is on March 28. The Classical app will be running on devices with iOS 15.4 or later versions.

With the new Classical Music streaming app's arrival, Spotify might need to upgrade its game in the industry as the competition intensifies.

To cope up with the ever-evolving market, the Swedish streaming giant has unveiled the upcoming video-based discovery feeds on the platform.

Apple Music Subscriber Perk 

If you are already an Apple Music subscriber, you can soon access the Apple Music Classical app with no additional charge.

According to Macrumors, it's included for free if you are already an existing subscriber of the music streaming service. Apple says that users could soon explore a rich library of musical renditions and classic masterpieces inside the classic music app.

The press release about the app suggests that you can even search for your favorite composer, conductor, and even the catalog number of a song.

The standalone app is simply amazing for classic music fans who want to take a nostalgic trip to the past. The iPhone maker says it will offer "complete and accurate metadata" of the released and recorded songs.

Since this is an online subscription, you need a stable internet connection to access Apple Music Classical, according to CNBC.

Is Apple Music Android Beta coming soon?

Back in February 2022, the company mentioned that the beta version of Apple Music Classical on Android was just around the corner.

According to Tech Times, the update for the app might be focused on the enhanced widgets design.

At that time, the tech titan had not yet disclosed information about the upcoming service. However, the report said that there were two widget options for this music player.

A month later, it was already confirmed that the Android version of the music streaming is expected to show very soon.
