A new island has spawned over at "Fortnite" which features a new area to explore, with an expansive map featuring the "Samsung Island" from the South Korean tech company itself. It features an in-depth look at the Galaxy S23, exhibiting its tech and functions found on the smartphone for the public to enjoy on the famous battle royale.
The company's latest smartphone, the Galaxy S23, sees an iconic integration to the famous shooter game, but borders more on a metaverse-like experience for the public to discover more of the device.
'Samsung Island' Spawns in 'Fortnite,' A New Map to Enjoy

Samsung Latin America announced its latest feature available for all, but it is not for smartphones and another tech from the company, but a Samsung-themed island in "Fortnite." On this island, people may jump in and experience the new world filled with Samsung's technology, featuring its latest smartphone release, the Galaxy S23.
"This is one of the coolest resources in the digital universe, the Metaverse and the gameplay of Fortnite, specifically; they allow the use of a transmedia language in which we connect, with great speed, messages, products and people, with a high degree of immersion," says Arthur Wong, Marketing Director of Samsung Latin America.

'Fortnite's' Samsung Island features Giant Galaxy S23
According to the latest release, new features include the massive zoom features of the camera which users may access in the game to see far ahead with high-resolution displays. Moreover, it has a Nightography button that allows players to see in the dark.

Additionally, there is the "Fun Game Quest" feature where players may look for a hidden Galaxy S23 device on the island, and keep it until the end of the round for prizes.
A Samsung Virtual Showroom also showcases many of the company's technology for gamers to check out.

The access code for this new island is 8526-6648-9508, which users may search alongside the Samsung SmartCity.
'Fortnite' and Epic Games' Many Collaborations
Epic Games previously collaborated with Samsung to deliver its "Smart City" on "Fortnite" to deliver an action-packed experience in a game of tag, as well as exploring a new island on the game. It borders on its efforts to build a metaverse based on the famous battle royale game, centering on a new digital experience for all.
Apart from collaborations with specific pop culture presences to bring their characters as skins to the game, Epic brings the overall design and maps of "Fortnite" to feature famous iterations in the online world. Among the most iconic is the "Fortnite x BTS" collab which featured their hit song "Dynamite's" setting as a map in the game.
There are claims that "Fortnite" has a significant potential to be Epic Games' basis for its planned metaverse, and it is because of the open world-like experience of the RPG shooter game. This latest island from Samsung is yet again another digital experience for the fans, featuring "Fortnite's" platform and its S23 smartphone.
