Engwe has launched its newest e-bike design-the Engwe M20. What makes the electric bike stand out is its affordable price, according to Electrek.

An Affordable Electric Bike
The M20 starts at $1,299, and you can even get a $150 early bird discount on the launch page.
Even better, you get so much for that price. It features a dual suspension setup that will let users make full use of the 28 mph top speed.
It also has an option for dual batteries, which adds a second 48V 13Ah battery to the top tube in place of the included storage bag. This doubles the capacity to 1.25 kWh of battery and the range to 94 miles on pedal assist. You can get the dual battery version at $1,599.
There is also a second identical headlight mounted directly above the first headlight. In the drivetrain, there is a 1,000 W rear hub motor mounted in a cast rim wheel. It also doesn't have spokes, which makes maintenance a lot easier.
The mechanical disc brakes on the M20 sales more money as many companies now use hydraulic disc brakes but they're heavier. You will also notice that the brake rotors are only at 160mm.
The tires are sized 20"x4" fat tires with off-road tread, which makes it a dual sport electric moped. Users can activate the motor through a throttle and pedal assist.
The M20 is rated for riders up to 265 lb and is available in three color options, black, white, and green.
