A Tesla Model X Plaid was put to the test after it competed against two supercars; a Ferrari SF90 Stradale and a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.

A Tesla car is parked in front of a dealership on March 28, 2022 in Chicago, Illinois. Shares of Tesla jumped more than 8 percent today after the electric car maker announced a second stock split in less than two years.
The viral drag race was conducted by the CarWow: a car credit broker. CarWow's official YouTube channel posted the results. The drag race video generated over 1.6 million views, 58,000 likes, and 8,000 comments.
"Welcome to the most incredible petrol v hybrid v electric drag race you've ever seen!" said CarWow via its official YouTube video.

Tesla Model X Plaid vs Ferrari, Lamborghini Supercar
According to Business Insider's latest report, CarWow's viral drag race is a best-of-three competition.

Tesla vehicles are displayed in a showroom in Manhattan on April 04, 2019 in New York City. Tesla announced a first quarter 31% drop in vehicles that were delivered to customers compared to the prior quarter. The news caused the stock to drop approximately 8%.

During the first round, the Tesla Model X Plaid won, followed by the Ferrari supercar. However, the SF90 Stradale had some issues at first, leading to its defeat.
In the second round, Ferrari was able to beat the Tesla Model X Plaid. Unlike the first round, the EV SUV's tires experienced traction struggles.
In the third round, the Tesla Model X Plaid and Ferrari SF90 Stradale had a very close match. But, if you will check the image of the finish line, you will see that Ferrari's nose gave it the advantage at the 10-second mark.
But, CarWow said that the winner of the third round should be decided by the viewers. Of course, in this drag race, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ definitely lost against Tesla and Ferrari.
How Can Tesla Keep Up With Them?
In the first part of the video, CarWow already provided the horsepower of the three cars; Model X Plaid with 1,020 hp, Ferrari SF90 Stradale with 1,000 hp, and Lamborghini Aventador SVJ with 770 hp.
This clearly shows that the engine of the Tesla SUV is more powerful compared to the two supercars.
But, the main reason why Tesla gave them a really hard time is its instant torque.
Unlike the two gas-based supercars, the Model X no longer needs to reach an optimal RPM before it can reach high speeds.
