Google Bard AI Early Access for Pixel Superfans

As per a report by 9to5 Google, the renowned tech giant introduced Bard AI last February amid the growing popularity of ChatGPT and the Bing chatbot. However, Google kept mum on the release of its AI chatbot.

But this time, its much-awaited debut is likely to occur soon.

Pixel Superfans are now reportedly getting their hands on invitations that give early access to Bard, giving them a chance to try the AI chatbot under the Trusted Tester program.

The email introduces the AI chatbot of Google, simply known as Bard.

It reads: "Meet Bard, an early experiment by Google that lets you collaborate with generative AI. We'd like to offer you - a member of our Pixel Superfan community - early access so you can get started as soon as Bard launches, and share your feedback."

Google further explains that it "can't wait to hear how people start using Bard." But despite that, the tech giant notes that "large language models will not always get it right." So with that, "input from a wide range of experts and users will help Bard improve."

Pixel Superfans Still Have to Wait

However, it is worth noting that Pixel Superfans will still have to wait before they can access the new Bard AI.

The invitation gives them the option to fill out a form, which should give them early access to the AI technology once it launches. After completing the form, Superfans are told that they can "get started as soon as Bard launches, " Android Police reports.

The invitation also clearly states that Google "will follow up with further instructions" after completing the form.

What is Bard AI Exactly?

Bard is the AI tool of Google, which uses its LaMDA technology, an AI model that the search giant introduced back in 2021.

Back in February 2023, when Google unveiled Bard, the tech giant showed how the AI tool could be integrated into its search engine.

Once it starts rolling out to early testers, the new AI tool rivals the ChatGPT of OpenAI, which powers Microsoft Bing.
