According to the story by Pokemon, players will get double Candy rewards when transferring Pokémon, and an Enhanced Field Research task that grants Mysterious Components, 12 km Eggs with rare Pokémon, and the chance to rescue shiny Pokémon from Team GO Rocket Grunts.
All these fantastic features will be available during the Let's GO event from Tuesday, March 21, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The "Pokémon Go" Let's Go! event is offering trainers around the world an exciting experience full of surprises.
Capture the Unforgettable: With an Increase of Pansear, Panpour, and Pansage Shinies and Dittos
From March 21st to March 29th local time, Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour will appear more frequently in the wild, and gamers can even expect a Shiny variant of these elusive Pokémon.
Ditto will also be appearing more often disguised as one of eight species, such as Diglett, Grimer, and Snubbull, and gamers may even be able to get their hands on a Shiny Ditto if they're lucky.
Catch Rare Pokémon and Strengthen Players' Collection
The event also offers unique opportunities to catch some rare Pokémon and strengthen gamers' collections by transferring them. When players use the Mystery Box during the event, there is an increased chance of encountering XXS and XXL Meltan, and they might even find a Shiny Meltan.
According to Polygon, players will also receive double Candy rewards when transferring Pokémon, which is the perfect time to improve their team. Team GO Rocket is up to its usual tricks and will be staging a takeover with Shadow Pokémon as part of the event.
Unlocking the Super Rocket Radar Through Special Research
Grunts will be appearing more frequently at PokeStops and in balloons, and players can use this chance to get some Mysterious Components and a Super Rocket Radar.
As explained in an article by Videogames.Si, players can complete a new Special Research story to acquire this valuable item, then use it to take on Team GO Rocket Leaders and possibly save a shiny Pokémon from capture.
