Merge 3DS and Wii U eShop Funds

Nintendo of Europe reminded players last month of the 3DS and Wii U eShop closures expected for March, as well as what they might do to prepare.

Purchases on the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U system and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems will no longer be permitted after March 27.

To merge 3DS and Wii U eShop funds to a Nintendo account, according to Nintendo support, users should link their Nintendo Network ID to their Nintendo Account.

The fund merge service will be offered until March 2024. After that date, players can utilize their balance exclusively to buy content for the Nintendo Switch family of systems.
