Google's artificial intelligence program opened up a new milestone by expanding its generative AI experience to the public for its testing, allowing select participants to engage with its latest development. It will help people create content using text prompts, built-in among Google's Workspace suite, but is currently testing in Gmail and Docs.

The Google AI helps in creating a detailed and extensive write-up regarding one's needs, using text prompts that users set to the AI as its basis, and it would be available right where people would usually type.

9to5 Google reported that Google is now opening up the Generative AI feature on its Workspace Apps, Gmail, and Docs, to more public users to test the experience on their devices. This will allow people to use Google's AI to help them create content or e-mail messages to send to team members, friends, or family, alongside the summarization of available content to catch up.

This is part of Google's announcement two weeks ago, which claims a "new era" for artificial intelligence, centering on the Workspace suite that received this update.

Users under the consumer, enterprise, and education suite for users over 18 in the United States will be able to tap into the Generative AI features of Google Docs and Gmail to help them create content. It will be available with the dedicated button with the pencil icon and sparkling design which represents the AI.

How to Join Google's Public Testing for Generative AI

There are no sure ways yet available on Google's Generative AI homepage, but it is best to monitor this website to learn more about the company's public beta testing. This webpage contains most of Google's announcements for its latest AI developments, one that would help the public get more of what they wish to do using Google's AI in the Workspace.

Google and its AI Developments

Two weeks ago, Google announced its famed AI development is coming to two of its Workspace suite apps for availability to the public, namely Gmail and Docs. This is part of Google's expansion of creating generative AI for the public, one that would highlight its newfound power using AI, integrating what Bard has to offer.

However, this is not exactly the Bard, as it remains to have no names apart from the "Generative AI" intended for its Workspace.

Regarding Bard, Google's AI chatbot, it remains under selected public beta access available mostly for developers, including that of its web browser. Recently, Google allowed early access to its Bard AI to selected Pixel users, particularly the "super fans" of the famous smartphone lineup, to experience the latest development firsthand.

Google is gearing up for the expansion of its AI services to the public, with the Generative AI already seeing public testing to users, alongside Bard's beta experience. The Workspace suite is getting an enhanced version thanks to AI in this development from Google, to bring users easier summarization or content generation in these apps.
