Caring for the environment should be adopted by everyone, and should be a continuous thing that people observe, something that the gaming industry is also being responsible with, in Xbox's latest wireless controller. This new creation by Microsoft and Xbox centers on the "Remix," a green controller that features the same color and promotes environmental-friendly solutions.

The new Xbox Remix wireless controller is made from recycled materials, and this gives environmentally-conscious gamers a chance to play with ease and fewer worries about pollution in the world.

Microsoft and Xbox shared a new press release behind the latest wireless controller for its gaming console, and the company calls this the "Remix," as well, it is a mix of different materials. This eco-friendly console controller centers on a rechargeable device that can last up to four hours of gaming before the need to plug it in.

It comes standard as Xbox controllers go, with the famed Xbox Buttin in the middle, the D-Pad, buttons, triggers, and more.

However, it takes the device a step further with the earth-tone color variation, with the triggers, side grip areas, and bumpers also featuring a "topographic texture pattern" to complete the experience.

Microsoft said that it features the Xbox Rechargeable battery pack to reduce waste and promote sustainability.

The Xbox Remix wireless controller is now available for pre-order worldwide, for as much as $84.99 MSRP. It will be released by April 18.

Xbox said that it recycled a lot of materials to create the Remix for gamers, including old CDs, water jugs or bottles, and old parts of previous Xbox controllers. The company also added that it processed these by "regrinding" the materials to turn into base components to create new controllers, giving birth to the Remix that we know now.

Microsoft's Commitment to a Greener Planet

Microsoft is one of the most influential companies in the world, and they have been promoting sustainability and changing the way they run things towards preserving the natural resources of the planet. One of its commitments towards a greener Earth is by reducing its water consumption, as well as restoring what it used by 2030.

The software company from Redmond, Washington also invested in renewable energy sources for their company's use, alongside Google, and more. Microsoft entered power purchase agreements (PPA) with different companies to transform its IT and data centers, known for their massive power consumption, and change the way it runs things with sustainable energy.

With Microsoft's massive move and commitment to a greener planet, its many subsidiaries also follow in its footsteps, with Xbox and its gaming focus. The latest wireless controller from Xbox and Microsoft centers on recycled materials, coming from its old technology from the Xbox One consoles, as well as junk from all over the world to bring the Remix for all.
