The redesigned Instagram Reels editor will make editing easier and more enjoyable.

Thanks to this enhancement, IG Reels can efficiently compete against TikTok. Meta confirmed this Instagram upgrade on Friday, April 14.
"We strive to make Instagram a home for creators like you to express your creativity, connect with your audience, and earn a living," said the tech firm via its official blog post.
Meta added that these Reels enhancements would empower users to do what they do best on Instagram.
Redesigned Instagram Reels Editor Arrives!
According to Engadget's latest report, the redesigned Instagram Reels editor is already available across the globe.

Both iOS and Android users can take advantage of this new IG enhancement.
Meta explained that the new Instagram Reels editor would help users align and time elements on their videos to the right moments more easily.
Thanks to this, IG Reels will be more appealing to viewers.
Specifically, the new Instagram Reels editor will put all the needed elements (video clips, audio, stickers, and text) within a unified editing screen.
With this setup, users will be able to adjust the positioning of their video clips so that their footage will be perfectly timed for the audio/music.

Other Instagram Reels Enhancements
Aside from the redesigned Instagram Reels editor, Meta also announced the new Trends Destination.
This new feature will show all the top audio and hashtags so that content creators will know what's trending.
Another functionality of the new Trends Destination is that it shows how many times IG consumers used the sounds or hashtags. Users can access this new tab from the dashboard.
