Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed, the fourth and final downloadable content for the award-winning RPG Xenoblade Chronicles 3, hits the Nintendo Switch on April 25th. This is welcome news for fans of the series, as the expansion adds new content to the already successful game. 

Exploring a New and Mysterious Threat with Unity Combo: Joining Forces with Keves and Agnus 

According to the story by Gametsu, the expansion follows a group of six soldiers from the opposite nations of Keves and Agnus as they come together and join forces to explore a new and mysterious threat to their world. 

As players join the characters on their journey, they'll experience a new battle system, Unity Combo, which allows two characters to combine their attacks and battle. 

Unlocking the Power of Pyra + Mythra with the Release of New amiibo Figures 

With the new downloadable content, Nintendo and developer Monolith Soft have also announced the release of a pair of amiibo figures, as explained further in an article by Business Wire. 

The Pyra + Mythra 2-pack will be released on Friday, July 21, and scanning either amiibo figure in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will cause Noah's Swordfighter class sword to match the corresponding Aegis Sword of either Pyra or Mythra. 

A Special Patch Allowing Players to Use the Aegis Sword Weapon Skins 

Furthermore, a special patch will be available, allowing all players to use the Aegis sword weapon skins by meeting a specific condition. Moreover, additional new amiibo figures of Noah and Mio have also been announced, but more information on those will become available later.
