The Beatles record label Apple Corps has lost a high court trademark dispute against technology giant Apple Computer over using the Apple logo.

As of writing, fans are still waiting for the iPhone maker's AR-VR wearable. This new device will appear in the upcoming Apple WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) 2023.

This means that the Apple MR headset could be introduced on June 5. Before its estimated debut, numerous rumors about it had already appeared.

The latest one is the rumored magnetic battery, which Mark Gurman of Bloomberg shared.

Apple MR Headset Might Have an External Magnetic Battery

According to Apple Insider's latest report, Gurman claims the new Apple MR headset will have an external battery pack.

This battery pack will have a permanently connected cable, a proprietary connector on one end, which is attached to the headset itself.

Mark added that the connector would be magnetic. However, it will be firmly connected so the battery will not easily fall out as the Apple MR headset user moves.

Gurman further stated that this battery pack setup would help Apple reduce the weight problems of the upcoming MR headset.

Wearers can be more comfortable wearing the Apple MR headset because the pressure on their faces is reduced.

Apple MR Headset Battery's Other Details

9To5Mac reported that the external magnetic battery could last up to two hours per pack. Since this is a relatively short, heavy Apple headset, users must carry more than one battery pack to use it longer.

During their MR sessions, they must swap their drained battery with a new ones to continue their activities.

Although this tech is promising, many enthusiasts criticize the rumored battery setup since Apple has been on the side of cable-free designs.
