Apple is introducing a slew of new games on its subscription-based gaming service, Apple Arcade. With over 200 games already available on the platform, the 20 new titles include popular games from the App Store, such as Temple Run+, PPKP+, and LIMBO+, as well as Apple Arcade exclusives like Cityscapes: Sim Builder, Disney SpellStruck, and TMNT Splintered Fate.

 
"Apple Arcade brings together hundreds of fun titles in one gaming destination for our users to discover and enjoy," Alex Rofman, Apple's senior director of Apple Arcade, said in a statement.

"Today's launch boosts our award-winning catalog with 20 new games people will love playing and sharing with their friends and families."

Unique and Exclusive Games

Apple Arcade has gained traction among game developers and users alike since its launch in 2019. The platform provides an opportunity for game developers to create unique and exclusive games while giving users access to a wide collection of games playable on their iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV.

Doug Rosen, the Senior Vice President of Games & Emerging Media at Paramount Global, expressed excitement about the release of TMNT Splintered Fate, a new game set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe that is exclusively available on Apple Arcade.

He also praised the Arcade model, stating that it offers a great opportunity for game developers to create unique games tailored to the platform's audience.

Apple said that it is also committed to supporting indie developers and providing them with a platform to showcase their work. The platform features games from some of the world's renowned creators, ranging from indie titles to popular global franchises.

"We're a small team, and we love making comedy games, so we're happy to unveil our latest project, WHAT THE CAR?," said Tim Garbos, creative director at Triband.

"The best part is players can enjoy it today on Apple Arcade. It's a racing adventure filled with comedy - an amazingly absurd car game with lots of laughs - that everyone can play and share with their friends and family."

In 2022, more than 50 new games were added to the Apple Arcade catalog, accompanied by over 300 updates for existing titles. The recent introduction of 20 new games adds to the platform's diverse collection of mobile games.
