In an unexpected turn of events, a leak on Amazon Japan has unveiled the existence of a new Google Pixel Tablet. The listing on Amazon Japan is now removed by its original seller. 

While Google has yet to make any official announcements regarding the Pixel Tablet, this leak has sparked excitement among tech enthusiasts and fans of the Google Pixel lineup. The timing is particularly intriguing as it comes just before Google's highly anticipated I/O 2023 event scheduled for May 10.

Pixel Tablet is Coming, What to Expect of the New Device?

This leak follows Google's recent official unveiling of the Pixel Fold device, further fueling speculation about Google's plans to expand its product portfolio. 

According to the Amazon Japan listing, the Pixel Tablet, set to release on June 20, will retail for approximately $590 (listed at 80,000 Japanese yen). 

It will feature a spacious 10.95-inch LCD with a sharp 2560x1600 resolution. Additional details include a rumored CPU spec to be powered by Google's Tensor G2 chipset, a successor to the powerful Tensor SoC introduced with the Pixel series, also featuring as much as 8 GB RAM. 

The Pixel Tablet is available between two storage options, 128 GB or 256 GB, but is unknown if it will feature expandable storage. Lastly, it will feature 8 MP for both its front and rear cam, as well as 12 hours of battery life for the device.

As with any leak, it's important to approach this information with a degree of caution until Google makes an official announcement. However, the Pixel Tablet's leak on Amazon Japan has undoubtedly generated excitement and anticipation among tech enthusiasts. 

Other Pixel developments are coming this May 10, with the promise of Google's updated devices for all. Many are also saying that the Pixel 8 will also be unveiled in this event, for a future release later this year. 

Not to mention the previously confirmed Pixel Fold, Google's first foldable device.
