Saints Row fans are celebrating today as publisher Deep Silver and developer Volition announce the release of the first of three planned downloadable content expansions for the game, "The Heist & The Hazardous."

Sunshine Springs Update Adds a New District, Selfie Mode, and More

Along with the DLC, which must be purchased separately or as part of the Expansion Pass, a free content update is now live. The new update dubbed the Sunshine Springs update, introduces a brand new district of the same name-inspired by Palm Springs-to explore.

According to the story by Gematsu, it doesn't end there, as the update brings new features, improvements, and bug fixes. Most notably, the gameplay feels, flow, and balancing have all been upgraded.
