Grimace, one of the most iconic mascots in the world, has recently celebrated its birthday, and McDonald's has released a new game inspired by the character for everyone to play in celebration of his 52nd birthday.
"Grimace's Birthday" is a free-to-play game on desktop and mobile using an internet connection.It features the famed hairy purple blob mascot on a skateboard on a quest to find his friends in time for his big birthday bash that will be celebrated in the retro 8-bit video game developed with Krool Toys.

When Grimace took over McDonald's Twitter account last June 6, it indicated that a massive event was unfolding. While the event is still unknown, many have guessed it has something to do with his birthday.
McDonald's widely considers the purple mascot an important figure, as he is Ronald McDonald's best friend. Aside from the retro-style game that resembles the Game Boy Color, the world's largest fast-food restaurant chain will also dedicate a special event to the restaurant's stores to celebrate Grimace's birthday.
McDonald's had already introduced a new purple shake and a Grimace meal last Monday. The "Grimace's Birthday" website was already created and is now accessible to all.

Kickflip, Grind, Collect Shakes, and Celebrate Grimace's Birthday
The game's story center on 30 minutes before Grimace's birthday bash, but he needs to find his friends, namely Hamburglar, Birdie, and the McNuggets, before he blows out his candles.
Gamers must go through several stages to find the characters and collect enough purple shakes for the guests coming to Grimace's birthday celebration. "Grimace's Birthday"game features a normal and hard mode. It has different controls for riding, kickflipping, grinding on rails, and jumping all around obstacles.
McDonald's and What it Offers for All
The renowned fast food chain offers different events, festivities, limited-edition food, and others, which varies in different regions of the world. The company has also adapted to the modern world, especially with its recent team-up with IBM to bring new and enhanced voices to its Drive Thru stores.
One of the most iconic regular offers from McDonald's is its Happy Meal toys which are usually tied in with new films, shows, launches, or other events, making them iconic collector's items for all. However, a previous issue sparked when the company promised to bring back the Pokemon Trading Cards, but customers received "Space Jam 2" toys instead.
Apart from its famous hamburgers, fries, ice cream, and other culinary offers, McDonald's also introduced some famous mascots representing its brand, which include Grimace. All eyes are now set on Grimace, known for its hairy chubby body and cute face, as the company celebrates its birthday.
