Razer Debuts the Cobra Gaming Mice Lineup

The Razer Cobra line is here, and it is set to bring a new experience for those with different grips and styles in using their gaming mice for their PC setup. According to the company's press release, the Razer Cobra is an ultra-lightweight wired gaming mouse that has a single-zone gradient Chroma RGB with underglow.

The mouse features a symmetrical design with 10 customizable controls, five onboard memory profiles, and 11 individually addressable Chroma RGB zones.

It is a 58-gram lightweight build that has similar Gen-3 optical switches, boasting a blistering 0.2 ms actuation time without debounce delay, Chroma RGB lighting, and an 8500 DPI optical sensor. However, if you are ready to drop extra cash for additional features, Razer has the more expensive Cobra Pro.

The Razer Cobra Pro is a wireless gaming mouse packed with three modes of connection, 11-zone Chroma RGB with underglow, and compatible with wireless charging. The wireless mouse has 10 customizable controls, a 30K sensor, and up to 170 hours of battery life.

"The Cobra Pro stands unrivaled as the most immersive, feature-rich wireless and symmetrical mouse available today, and we can't wait for our community to try it out for themselves," said Barrie Ooi, head of Razer's PC Gaming Division.

Both Razer mice feature a smart dimming that helps save power and improve battery life. This means that when your palm covers the lighting zones of the mouse, it automatically adjusts to one's desired level. They were designed to cater to the finger-style and claw-style grips for the mice.

Is the Razer Cobra, Cobra Pro Worth It?

The Razer Cobra is available for $39.99. Aside from the wire, this mouse has nearly 16.8 million colors and countless lighting effects with zero double-clicking issues.

On the other hand, the Cobra Pro features a wireless connection with Bluetooth, a 2.4 GHz USB dongle, and USB-wired usage. The Cobra Pro is only 75 grams and brings the Focus Pro 30,000 DPI (750 IPS) sensor with Razer's third-gen mechanical switches.

The company said that when on Bluetooth, it can last up to 100 hours on 2.4 GHz and 33 hours for the 4,000Hz wireless mode.

Razer's Gaming Peripherals

When talking about the best gaming accessories, one of the brands that mostly come to many people's minds is Razer, and this is because the company has proven itself to bring reliable tech and features to its products.

One of the most iconic releases of the company was 2023's Viper Mini Signature Edition, the lightest gaming mouse to date, weighing in at only 49 grams.

Other peripherals are also available, including its iconic mechanical gaming keyboard, the Black Widow lineup, which sees multiple sale offers in the market. The Kitsune controller was also recently unveiled, and it centers on a leverless design that is the first-ever legal one in the world.

Gaming is the main focus of Razer, which is why they have high-quality gaming products with better performance. The latest Cobra line features the latest tech to help with one's gaming needs, especially for its Pro version, which is a performance-focused mouse for all.
