'Friday the 13th' the game, is coming to a close after six successful years of hacking, slashing, and surviving.

Regrettably, the beloved horror game will be unavailable to purchase at the end of the year, as its publisher, Gun Media, loses rights and their license for the game.

But for much fortunate news, Gun Media gives their players a number of freebies and perks as a token of appreciation for the continued support of fans from their start until now.

Gifts and Rewards

The July 6th 150-level upgrade and the 30 Legend rewards were among the benefits that Gun Media announced for the other players. Except for those that need DLC, all of Jason's kills are accessible to players. This update's goal is to deliver players a seamless transition with the most optimal rolling experience.

'Friday the 13th the game's' developers tweeted regarding this update while claiming that all the benefits were required to "help reduce dependence on database servers."

Wes Keltner, the game's director, shared the same thoughts and highlighted the importance of this decision, stating that these benefits were "the best way we knew to give you, the players, the best experience and a heartfelt thank you as we move towards an inevitable goodbye."

Farewell For Now

In an interview with Rely on Horror, American composer Harry Manfredini said that he is working on a new Friday the 13th-themed horror game completely unrelated to 'Friday the 13th the game'. Fans of horror, thriller, and slashers now have a new game to play in place of their preferred survival horror title.

A new slasher horror game from a different company with realistic characters was unveiled by Manfredini. After Friday the 13th the game gets delisted, the game is anticipated to fill the hole in the survival horror genre.

All these acts show the team's thanks for the players' support and contributions to the game's success. It also emphasizes the value of developing close bonds between game developers and their player base.
