For the longest time ever, AMD has been competing with Intel, and now, one of its processors has just become more affordable after a significant price drop. Since the chip shortage can be considered over, an AMD CPU is now dropping its price to one of its lowest ever.

According to Notebook Check, the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X had an initial price of $399 before it went up to $499.  Amazon listed it with the same $449 price, but the ongoing 29% discount brings this chip down to $319.99.

The processor was launched in late September 2022, and since then, it has been considered one of the most popular processors within the Ryzen 7 7000 series.

AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Comes With the Same TDP as the Ryzen 5 7600X at Just 105W

According to Chill Blast, the processor functions at a 105W TDP despite having more clock speed, cores, and threads than the Ryzen 5 7600X. However, it was reported that its base clock speed was behind the Ryzen 5 7600X at just 4.5 GHz versus the 5 series model's 4.7 GHz.

Despite that, the report on Notebook Check highlighted how the CPU could still reach 4.5 GHz to 5.4 GHz boost speed. That comes with multiple overclocking capabilities, allowing users to make the most out of their computers.
