The hit manga and anime, "One Punch Man," is now getting a much-awaited video game, courtesy of Crunchyroll, featuring new dynamics and experiences for all. This game, called "One Punch Man: World," will soon be an online multiplayer game heading to both mobile and PC platforms.

Crunchyroll's development would feature not only an action fighting game but also several aspects of the open world where gamers get to go around the neighborhood as the ultra-powerful Saitama.

'One Punch Man: World': New Online PC, Mobile Game

Saitama is getting a significant feature in his standalone game, "One Punch Man: World," which has recently released its trailer featuring iconic moments and battles around Z-City.

It features a role-playing game experience set in an open world, and it is also an online multiplayer where gamers may join others in different quests and missions.

However, it was not confirmed by Crunchyroll if it would be a massive multiplayer online RPG (MMORPG), despite having the potential to do so. Still, the game would have players running around in third-person POV and leveling up through different missions, side stories, and main story arc features.

This free-to-play game, which requires an internet connection for gamers to enjoy, would also center on One Punch Man's Season 1 anime stories, including renowned villains and characters appearing alongside Saitama like Genos, Mumen Rider, and more.

Crunchyroll to Release New 'One Punch Man' Game

The new "One Punch Man: World" is now available for pre-registration for those who want to get in the action once it is released. Crunchyroll's development centers on an open-world experience where players get to be the renowned heroes from the manga and stroll around the city.

It is unknown if Crunchyroll would also add Saitama's famous one-hit K.O. against villains and enemies, making him an "OP" character in the game.

Crunchyroll and One Punch Man

Crunchyroll is no stranger to games, and the streaming company has expanded more of its content from anime streaming to also being game developers and distributors in the world.

A web novel series recently adopted as an anime also saw a game development from Crunchyroll last year, with "The Eminence Shadow: Master of Gardens" available on iOS and Android.

When looking at different animated series from Japan, it is unavoidable not to see "One Punch Man," because it is one of the most popular modern animes now, also adopted from a webcomic.

It first aired in 2015, and fans were eager to get the second season from its creators and animators as soon as possible, but only saw its release four years later.

The still-developing animated series and manga of "One Punch Man" put it in a bind, but Crunchyroll has made a workaround for this by creating an open world and following only the anime's Season 1.

"One Punch Man: World" game is coming soon for all to enjoy, now available for its pre-registration, with no specific release dates yet from its creators.
