Crunchyroll Games releases a mobile game of The Eminence in Shadow series on iOS and Android devices.

The Eminence in Shadow is a web novel series written by Daisuke Aizawa, with an anime adaptation that recently started airing in October.

Crunchyroll Games launched The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden mobile game on November 30, with an announcement via their official Twitter. The game is available to download worldwide except for East Asia, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Fortunately, Crunchyroll Games' latest JRPG is free-to-play and available for both Android and iOS devices.

According to PocketGamer, players can use characters familiar to fans of the series as they assemble their squad with Shadow, Alexia, Alpha, Beta, and other team members. Aside from enjoying additional content from the anime, The Eminence in Shadow fans can enjoy a showcase of the characters' animated skills and quality graphics.

The game also features co-op raids and PvP modes and will let players form a variety of team compositions that allow players to plan the best usage of their characters based on their given roles as Tank, Attacker, and Supporter. Unleashing Team Combos using different characters can also trigger character support interaction so players can learn more about their stories.

'The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden' Story: What We Know So Far

The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden mobile game was first announced by Crunchyroll back in September, alongside its animated series premiere.

Since the mobile game showcases additional lore from the web novel series, players can anticipate more background on The Eminence in Shadow's official synopsis:

"Even in his past life, Cid's dream wasn't to become a protagonist or a final boss. He'd rather lie low as a minor character until it's prime time to reveal he's a mastermind...or at least, do the next best thing-pretend to be one! And now that he's been reborn into another world, he's ready to set the perfect conditions to live out his dreams to the fullest. Armed with his overactive imagination, Cid jokingly recruits members to his organization and makes up a whole backstory about an evil cult that they need to take down. Well, as luck would have it, these imaginary adversaries turn out to be the real deal and everyone knows the truth but him!"
