The United States sales tax holidays kick off this week in some states, which means that different products will be available at a lower price. Apple is among the companies that will offer products at lower prices as it joins the sales tax holidays.

These Apple tax-free items will surely be lower than their original prices, but Apple said there is a limit on the total sales price in some states.

Apple Products Eligible for US Sales Tax Holidays

Apple said these sales tax holidays would only be available for a limited time. Depending on which state, it would only last for about two to three days, except in Florida, so it is important to remember the dates in each state.

Like last year's sales tax holidays, a state allows sales tax to be waived or reduced on categories of items for a limited time. Here are the states that will offer tax breaks this week until early next month:

  • Alabama - July 21 - 23 | All Mac computers under $750
  • Arkansas - August 5 - 6 | All Mac, iPad, iPhone, Printers, Accessories (Keyboards, Mice, Apple Pencil, Displays)

Is It Worth It to Buy During the Sales Tax Holidays?

Only six states are part of these sales tax holidays, but it is worth noting that some states do not charge users with the tax requirement on certain prices of their purchases.

A sales tax holiday allows tax-free purchases of certain items, although not as much as some consumers expect. It is advisable only to buy what you need since there are limited choices on the eligible Apple products on these annual sales tax holidays.
