The latest smartphone from Apple is expected this Fall season, with the next-in-line being the major upgrade for the devices under the iPhone 15 lineup. However, there seems to be a problem with its future availability as the device's display production is seeing issues because of Apple's new design for its screens to reduce the bezels again. 

It is expected that the iPhone 15 would bring many updates to its design, features, and technology, but these new things may effectively bring shortages to its supplies soon. 

Apple to See Delays on iPhone 15 Display Production

The Information reported that there are "two people with direct knowledge of the issue" who claims that there is a display production problem with Apple's development of the iPhone 15. This centers on Apple's latest design for the iPhone 15 which would change its display design that would reduce the bezels thinner compared to the previous models.

Apple is now focusing on a "new manufacturing process" for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro lineup, hence these issues. 

Moreover, the iPhone 15's body would stay the same but feature a larger screen because of this new bezel design, but this ultimately raises significant problems in its development.

iPhone 15 to See Shortages on Release?

According to 9to5 Mac, the people that claimed this said that there are expected "severe shortages" on the iPhone 15's future availability because of this display production issue. The iPhone 15 was said to be using LG-made displays that Foxconn is manufacturing, now entering the "risk ramp" where it makes hundreds of thousands of displays to test its viability for use without defects. 

Apple's iPhone 15 Development

One of the most iconic things with the iPhone 15's development is how it would change a lot from the previous models, especially as it is slated to receive all the changes after the three-year design cycle that ended with the iPhone 14. Many leaders and speculators have already revealed that the iPhone 15 would change a lot on its display with ultra-thin bezels. 

Now, that is the biggest challenge for Apple, facing display production issues as per the insider. 

There are also speculations that all models of the iPhone 15 would feature the famed Dynamic Island, with the feature only available for the iPhone 14 Pro Models.

Moreover, instead of different mixes of metals on its body but mainly using aluminum, Apple would focus on a titanium build for the iPhone 15 which would also bring back the rounded design like the iPhone 5C.

In the early speculations and insider information available now, the iPhone 15 is set to be one of the most promising smartphones of the present, with Apple incorporating significant features. However, with the many changes it wants to integrate, its display production is now suffering, eventually causing a shortage on its release and delays to have its supply normalize.
