Oppo A58 4G Spotted on SIRIM Certification Database, Hinting at Imminent Global Launch

The Oppo A58 5G model was launched in China in November 2022. Now, the company plans to launch the Oppo A58 4G, a 4G variant of the device, in the global market.

The device has already bagged certifications from FCC, TUV Rheinland India's BIS, and Thailand's NBTC. But recently, it has emerged on the SIRIM certification database of Malaysia.

Oppo A58 4G Model Spotted on Malaysia's SIRIM Certification Website

According to Gizmo China, the SIRIM certification of the Oppo A58 4G with model number CPH2577 does not reveal any specifications. However, it does confirm that the mobile phone will eventually be released in Malaysia.

The Tech Outlook reported that this Oppo device was spotted on various certification websites like IMEI, FCC, EEC, TKDN, TDRA, Bluetooth SIG, and BIS.

However, this smartphone's moniker name was not known at that time. But recently, the same device was spotted on the NBTC certification website in which the mysterious device was confirmed as the Oppo A58 4G.

Ahead of its launch, The Tech Outlook noted that this Oppo model's approval code on the SIRIM certification was RGQL/38F/0723/S(23-3212). Besides the model number and approval code, not much was revealed about this upcoming smartphone.

Oppo A58 4G Device to Come With 5,000 mAh Battery and More

It was earlier reported that the Oppo A58 4G will come with a 5,000 mAh battery and have 33W fast charging support. The upcoming smartphone will also support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The device is 7.99mm thick and weighs 191 grams.

Regarding the device's software, it was also reported that the Oppo A58 4G would come with the Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1.

Oppo A58 4G is assumed to be somewhat similar to the 5G variant that debuted last year. The 5G variant features a 6.56-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1612 x 720 pixels, giving it an HD+ resolution.

It is also powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and is equipped with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Oppo A58 5G Features a 50MP Primary Shooter

The Oppo A58 5G reportedly features a dual rear camera setup that includes 50MP primary camera and a 2MP portrait camera. For selfies and video calls, it has an 8MP front-facing camera.

Besides the 5G feature, the phone offers several connectivity options, including dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, dual SIM support, GNSS, and USB Type-C.
