Samsung Drops an 89-Inch Micro LED TV that Costs Buyers $100,000

According to the story by Gizmo China, Samsung has just recently revealed an 89-inch Micro LED TV in South Korea that would cost buyers a whopping $100,000. This comes as the TV drops with top-notch specs and features.

It was noted that the new TV was part of an expansion of Samsung's existing Micro LED TV lineup, which already includes other massive variants. It's important to note that this isn't the largest TV on the list as Samsung also offers screens that are past 100 inches.

The New Screen Joins the Lineup of 76, 101, and 114-Inch Variants

The lineup also consists of a TV that's just slightly smaller than the 89-inch, the 76-inch Micro LED TV screen. The other two units aside from the newly released 89-inch include the 101-inch and 114-inch variants, which are the latest entries to the Micro LED display lineup.

The article by Gizmo China notes that the panel comes with densely packed LEDs that release light and color in micrometer units. This reportedly offers users a higher resolution compared to what they would normally get from typical OLED technology.

98-Inch Neo QLED 8K TV by Samsung was Also Recently Announced

It was also noted that with the technology, the company promises to give users an ultimate screen experience with what was described as "amazing picture quality." The brand initially introduced the product in April in China and since then, it has reportedly been releasing new TVs that were flagship grade as well.

Some other screens include Samsung's Neo QLED 8K TV, which is a 98-inch screen that was reportedly announced earlier in July. The brand new 89-inch Micro LED TV would reportedly cost buyers 130 million won, which would translate to around $100,000 in USD.

This would also come as part of The Freestyle bundle and lastly, the company was offering 5 million Samsung membership points should the product be purchased by the end of July.

The Samsung 89-inch Micro LED TV has long been discussed, with an article by What Hi-Fi dating back to October 2022 talking about whether the company has started its production of this screen. It was noted that during that time, the company already started production of the TV.
