WWDC 2023 went massive on the latest updates for the iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and the macOS 14, a.k.a. the Sonoma, with the latest computer operating system to bring the Mac's first-ever "Game Mode." However, as per the recent sleuth on the iOS 17's beta, it is not only the macOS Sonoma that is getting this feature but the iPhones and iPads as well.

Gaming has never been massive on Mac, but on mobile devices, they have been one of the highlights, so it is only logical that Apple is working on integrating this tech as well.

9to5 Mac reported that it found an interesting code lying around in the latest beta release from Apple for iOS 17, and it was a feature that the company is testing out for the iPhones and iPads. This is "Game Mode," the same feature that Apple announced for the macOS 14 Sonoma in its latest developer's showcase last June.

Apple recently released the fourth beta of iOS 17, and apart from all the features that recently arrived for mobile devices, it brought in the said feature that will expand more of the gaming experience.

The company did not announce anything regarding the iPhone's gaming mode, but it is now clear that this boosting and optimizing feature is also applicable for the iOS 17 and its eligible devices.

Game Mode is Coming for the iPhones and iPads

For now, the hidden code only means that Apple is still working out the kinks of how Game Mode would work on the iOS 17, but it is an indication that mobile gaming is getting a significant boost, based on what Apple revealed for the macOS Sonoma in WWDC 2023.

Games and apps have always been a part of the iPhones and iPads, and the addition of this feature is meant to expand more of what it brings to its users.

Apple's iOS 17 and the macOS Sonoma

One of the most iconic features that Apple brought to the public is that the iPhones, iPads, and Macs are in one ecosystem where there is a chance for interconnectedness for its different processes. That was seen throughout the years and many have followed suit of what it brought, with Apple furthering it with macOS 14 Sonoma's announcement

It was also revealed there that the upcoming Game Mode for Mac would deliver a different kind of experience for all macOS users, but did not reveal future games for the computer.

As the latter part of the year arrived, it only became a concrete example that iOS 17 is something to look forward to, as the previously revealed features are now seen in the latest beta phase of the system.

The latest releases from Apple are set to change the way people use their devices and experience what is coming to the company's development for the devices. While gaming has not been a massive focus, it was there for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices, but this will all change as Apple is offering a boost with the upcoming Game Mode feature for the three aforementioned.
