After much speculation, the first free game on PlayStation Plus next month has finally been revealed. The new title is part of the PlayStation Plus' Essential tier, and its subscribers can claim the game for free.

PlayStation Plus Free Game Offerings Expected to Drop New Good Titles

According to Gaming Bible, the PlayStation Plus free game offerings are expected to come with numerous good titles. The article noted that some users have seriously high expectations about the freebies.

Should Sony follow the usual way it announces new titles, gamers would soon be able to find out what free games they would get from the subscription. It was reported that to get the rewards, players would have to subscribe to the PlayStation Plus' Essential tier, a plan for any current subscribers wishing their membership to continue the way it already is.

Some subscribers had already started predicting what titles they expect to find as part of the PlayStation Plus subscription. Some of the gamers' expectations include "Hades," "Cyberpunk 2077," and "Marvel's Spider-Man."

'Endling: Extinction is Forever' Is Free Until July 31, While 'Sea of Stars' Is Expected in August

Gaming Bible reported that it would be good if these titles would indeed be included in the subscription. However, it remains to be seen. As for the current game subscribers can claim before August, they can get the "Endling: Extinction is Forever" until July 31.

The "Endling - Extinction is Forever" is now available on Steam but costs $29.99. The game is about a mother fox trying to save her cubs. With buyers having a limited time to claim this game, another title would be up for claim for PlayStation Plus subscribers in August.

The next game available for free on the PlayStation Plus in August is the "Sea of Stars," a pixel art adventure from Sabotage Studio.

The "Sea of Stars" game follows the story of two "Children of the Solstice" who have to perform "Eclipse Magic" by combining the sun's and moon's powers. The Eclipse Magic was the only force that could fend off monstrous creations.

Sabotage Studio's level designer Philippe Dionne noted they were excited to confirm the coming of "Sea of Stars" to the PS Plus subscription. Dionne said the game would join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on August 29.

The lead designer noted that it was incredible for them to imagine that the game would be experienced by more players worldwide. He also noted how they worked on the game for five years and that it was just a few weeks away from release.
