Spider-Man 2 PS5 console plate pre-orders have gone quickly on the first day of launch. Fans who are unlucky to get the console covers are now wondering if the second restock will happen anytime soon.

For buyers, especially for those who deeply love the Spider-Man franchise, nothing is ever more painful than missing out on the latest Spider-Man-themed face plates for PS5.
It happens at a time when not all people in the store can get the most elusive accessory on the planet even if it's already their time on the queue.
According to Gaming Intel, the stocks for the Spider-Man 2 PS5 covers are emptied on July 28 in a matter of minutes. This means that many PS5 owners badly want to grab plates either for collection or fun.
While it's disheartening to hear that its pre-orders are no longer available, they could potentially hit the shelves again on September 1. The stocks are expected to drop in both physical and online stores.
According to Jake Randall, a trusted restock tracker who became famous on YouTube, PS5 console finders should be at Best Buy earlier than 1 to 1:30 AM ET. That's 10 to 10:30 PM PT on August 31 if you're living on the other side of the world.
Some retailers assure that the buyers will get hold of the in-demand console covers and there's no need to spend an all-nighter just to grab one of them.
As of the moment, Amazon US remains the only major store in the country that hasn't yet offered the PS5 cover players. We never know if the retailer is now preparing for the huge accessory restock.
At the time of publishing, the Spider-Man 2 PS5 console cover is available at $65 in select stores.

Spider-Man 2 Developer Says PS5 Cover Plates Won't Likely Arrive Soon
Over Twitter, Insomniac Games, the developer behind the web-slinging action game, says that the console covers for the Spider-Man 2 PS5 edition won't likely come out anytime soon.
The plates are unlikely to go back in stock.

The gaming company wrote this in response to one user's question if he can at least pre-order the controller on July 28.
Speaking of controllers, Polygon reports that the Spider-Man 2 DualSense controller is already up for pre-orders on Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy, The premium controller is priced at $80 at the time of writing.
