A Tesla that caught on fire in California has recently noticed attention but not because of the fire and smoke it dealt with, but because of the firefighters who responded and tagged Elon Musk on X. While normally, Teslas that are caught in an accident would be processed and have authorities call upon the owner of the company.

Here, firefighters are taking the incident directly to the company owner and founder, Elon Musk, who is under heavy criticism because of the Tesla problems.

Firefighters from Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District have responded to an incident involving a Tesla Model S P100D that was sitting out in a yard from a high-end auto dismantler. It was said that the fire broke out spontaneously from the Tesla EV, with the car parked in the yard and not driven by anyone as it remained in the lot.

Metro Fire of Sacramento posted a tweet covering the incident, showing how the firefighters were extinguishing the fire that the electric vehicle caused.

The fire respondents had to use a forklift to tilt the car to its sides and spray it with the extinguisher to stop the fire from the underside of the vehicle.

According to Fox Business, the authorities claimed that the vehicle was involved in an accident a few months back.

Firefighters Tagged Elon Musk on X

The efforts of the firefighters saved other cars in the lot, as it was parked alongside high-end cars including Ferrari and Lamborghini.

However, what is more, peculiar about this post is that Elon Musk was tagged on X where it was posted. It prompted no replies from the tech CEO.

Tesla and its Issues, Accidents

One of the largest issues connected to Tesla EVs now is its driving range, as the vehicle owners claim that the distance it can travel is not exactly accurate as to what it displays. As per reports, Tesla is manipulating driving range estimates for owners, and it prompts many to book a repair or checkup from the company to address the issue.

However, there was also a report regarding Tesla's steering issues, as it is either hard to steer the car's dedicated round or yoke wheel. This issue mainly centers on new Teslas released this 2023, centering on the Model 3 and Model Y electric vehicles, and other reports center on its power steering which is hard to control.

Previously, there were reports of Teslas catching spontaneously on fire, or due to an accident that caused its batteries to start a fire, with EV power cells known for their high flammability. Now, the issue is with a Tesla sitting in a yard and catching on fire spontaneously, with the firefighters tagging Elon Musk on X to notify him of the incident.
