Apple's September iPhone 15 event is just around the corner and here's what you can expect to see next month.

Apple's recent Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) was marked by the launch of the visionary Vision Pro headset. However, the Cupertino firm's upcoming launch event in September will be a different story. It's going to be a deal-breaker for the average consumer.

Aside from the most anticipated iPhone 15, Apple will likely introduce new improvements to other gadgets including smartwatches and earbuds.

From iPhone 15 Max to iPhone 15 Ultra

As we approach the celebration, the tech giant might now be preparing to unveil the newest set of products that will cater to a bigger audience.

Undoubtedly stealing the spotlight will be the unveiling of the iPhone 15 series. Following a strategy similar to last year, Apple plans to introduce four models: the standard iPhone 15, the larger iPhone 15 Plus, the standard iPhone 15 Pro, and the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max.

There's speculation about Apple possibly renaming the "Max" variant to "Ultra," a move that aligns with the emergence of the Watch "Ultra." There's also talk of the iPhone potentially adopting a mappable quick-access button, replacing the alert slider.

Insights from reliable sources such as Bloomberg indicate that the non-Pro models of the iPhone 15 could bid farewell to the notch design in favor of the Dynamic Island concept, per ZDNet.

The innovative pill-shaped camera design, introduced last year, seamlessly adapts to the software and applications in use. If this change materializes, it would standardize the Dynamic Island across all flagship iPhones, extending beyond the Pro series.

As the EU directive mandates the adoption of USB-C by 2024, the upcoming iPhones are predicted to embrace USB-C compatibility for both charging and data transfer. This transition reflects a broader trend towards standardized power formats for enhanced user convenience.

The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are expected to showcase a sleeker bezel design, made possible by the implementation of low-injection pressure over-molding (LIPO) display technology.

This technology, previously applied in the Apple Watch Series 8, trims down the edges to create more screen space. Additionally, a potential shift to titanium material instead of stainless steel might influence the phones' tactile experience and potentially lead to a premium pricing structure.

Game-Changing Apple Watch Series 9

Turning the spotlight to the Apple Watch Series 9, experts predict an emphasis on incremental upgrades rather than radical changes. Recent efforts by Apple to refine the WatchOS experience suggest that this year's model will introduce enhancements building on the existing foundation.

The Series 9 is likely to introduce the S9 chip, which takes inspiration from the A15 processor in the iPhone 13 lineup, per Macrumors.

While not undergoing a complete transformation, the Watch Series 9 is projected to cater to everyday usage scenarios, with special attention to fitness and health features to align with growing consumer interests.

AirPods With a Twist

Anticipated as part of the keynote lineup is the new AirPods, but with a twist. The highlight of these new AirPods, whether they're an updated version of the standard model or the Pro variant, could be the adoption of USB-C charging.

Aligning with the trend seen in the iPhones, this shift simplifies connectivity across devices, creating a seamless user experience. Notably, this update could center around the charging case itself rather than the earbuds, indicating that the unveiling might revolve around accessories.

Although this year's enhancements may not bring revolutionary changes, they are poised to offer meaningful improvements for users who skipped the previous iterations. The September event promises to showcase Apple's ongoing commitment to refining and upgrading its product offerings.
