What the Survey's Findings Discovered?

The Dimensional Research has conducted the Kandji-commissioned survey to the select participants in the study.

The group gathered the insights of over 300 IT professionals. These include those who belong to the CIO, CTO, CISO, and even the executive levels.

Based on the surveys, there are:

  • 76% of large enterprises report an increase in their use of Apple devices in the past year.
  • 57% report that Apple device use is growing faster than other device options.
  • 67% of IT professionals report an increase in employee productivity with Apple devices.
  • Over half of the respondents report reliability and long lifecycle as major benefits.
  • Over half of IT professionals surveyed report that iPhone and iPad are better for the productivity and user experience of remote/hybrid employees compared to 15% for Android.
  • 30% of IT professionals report reduced total cost of ownership with Apple adoption.

Additionally, the findings also say that Apple devices are less likely to be hit by a cyberattack, according to 76% of IT professionals. Meanwhile, their Android or Windows counterparts are more susceptible to security threats.

Today, more than ever, business leaders must ensure that every decision drives value and results for the organization. And, as Apple devices continue to establish their influential position in the enterprise, they also provide a solution for current corporate situations," Kandji CEO Adam Pettit says.

Pettit adds that Apple deployment is proven to be a staple in several enterprises. According to him, the majority of businesses consider owning Apple products as a "strategic choice."

On top of that, IT professionals believe that using Apple is more than just owning a macOS device. It's also a preferable option that drives productivity and security for the whole company.

In other news, Tech Times reported that youngsters called Android owners "broke" or "medieval." According to the report, they considered them with outdated technology.

With this, it's already built in their mind that if you own a Samsung Galaxy or any Android handset, you are already an adult. For them, iPhones are what everyone should be using.
