'Titanfall 2' Had Long-Standing Problems With Hackers and Disconnection Issues

According to Games Radar, the "Titanfall 2" servers have long had problems like disconnection and being hacked. These issues existed for several years, but things started to look more stable recently.

One of the most pressing issues reported by players involves the game's PC servers, which would still force gamers to disconnect from matchmaking if they could not find an active server within a few minutes. That remains a significant issue for the game, which has a no robust player count.

'Titanfall 2' PC Servers Issues Fixed

In the past few days, as seen on Reddit, players have realized that the game's PC server bug has suddenly been fixed. It was also noted that the game was starting to get its first regular playlist updates.

Over the past month, reports said that players started discovering new things like map locations. Users also found that these map locations that previously hosted stuff like out-of-bound exploits have also been fixed.

Each location was marked with a tiny Nessie mascot from "Apex Legends," the developer's biggest game.

Games Radar also reported that loyal fans of "Titanfall 2" joked for quite a while that there was a lone "janitor" from the developer who was watching over them. With the recent updates, it seems like the "janitor" finally finished the work.

So far, the recent season of "Apex Legends" launched around the time the small Nessies were spotted on "Titanfall," highlighting different map fixes. It was also reported that the most recent "Resurrection" patch notes showed a teaser with the words "Subject: Nessie" along with three numbers.

'Titanfall' Players Might Not Get an Upcoming 'Titanfall 3,' as No Confirmation Was Given Whether It Was Currently In the Works

The three numbers were reportedly Unix timestamps linked to the different release dates of three games, including the first "Titanfall," the current "Titanfall 2," and the "Apex Legends."

Despite this, a few fans are still asking for a "Titanfall 3" to come out while being desperate to know what Respawn is doing next. There has been no official talk of a potential "Titanfall 3" in the works or whether it would ever come out in the future.

As of press time, the only thing that is confirmed is that the existing bugs in "Titanfall 2" have been fixed, especially the most pressing one concerning the game's servers. However, this might not mean everything is fixed, as players might still find bugs or issues elsewhere within the game.
