The famed autonomous ride-hailing service from Alphabet is now bringing the Waymo One Tour to Los Angeles as part of its expansion campaign that would soon be a regular transportation in the city. LA is getting early access to the pilot services of the robotaxi technology, and it would center on different parts of the city, not an all-out release for now.

Austin would follow the tour after Los Angeles, with the campaign starting next month and until March, allowing users to join the waitlist.

How to Join Waymo's Waitlist for LA

Waymo One Tour is an early access program meant for its pilot test in LA, and this will ask people to register on the waitlist and await the special offers coming from the company soon.

Sign up via Waymo's website for the "early access ticket to ride," which guarantees free rides available any time of the day or night, with Los Angeles headlining this before it moves to Austin, Texas.

    Waymo's Expansion and Robotaxi

Alphabet has decided to put its efforts into Waymo, centering on its Waymo One autonomous ride-hailing service that is meant to compete with GM's Cruise, Lyft, and Uber. It is the top priority for the subsidiary company for now, but that does not mean that its trucking is forgotten by the company, soon to be developed after Waymo One's expansion and growth.

With the company looking to expand its reach and services, it has previously announced its partnership with Uber, another renowned ride-hailing service that will receive the autonomous robotaxis as a special campaign. Uber and Waymo's collaboration will help bring the robotaxis to the former's app, which would help people better access it.

The massive campaign to bring robotaxis into the world is led by Alphabet's Waymo and GM's Cruise, mostly centering in the United States in the present, going from city to city. Its third location centers on LA, which will soon have early access to the autonomous ride-hailing service with the Jaguar I-PACE servicing different areas, with its waitlist open now.
