The INSTAX Pal, slated for release on October 5, marks a notable addition to Fujifilm's esteemed INSTAX series. This palm-sized camera, available in five distinct colors, allows users to capture moments anytime and anywhere.

Fujifilm is also launching matching silicone cases equipped with strap carabiners. Additionally, a "Soft Lavender" mini-format film will be introduced, combining elements of vibrancy with an air of sophistication.

This release coincides with the 25th anniversary of the INSTAX instant photo system. Having evolved with the times and technology trends, the INSTAX series has expanded from analog instant cameras to hybrid models and smartphone printers.

This diversity aims to cater to a wide spectrum of users, from the youth demographic to middle-aged individuals. The INSTAX Pal is a significant departure from its predecessors since it is primarily designed for capturing photos without the printing function. This new design choice allows for a substantial reduction in size, enhancing its portability.

Fujifilm INSTAX Pal's Features

Functionally, Fujifilm's INSTAX Pal offers a range of features to facilitate various shooting scenarios and enhance photographic experiences. The Standard mode, activated by a rear-panel shutter button, leverages the wide-angle lens to capture dynamic images from unique angles that may be challenging with smartphones.

The Remote mode enables real-time monitoring of captured images on a paired smartphone through a dedicated app via Bluetooth. The Interval mode, on the other hand, captures photos at a three-second interval.

These features set the camera apart from conventional smartphones, providing users with distinct shooting experiences. Additionally, the Instax Pal can connect to the INSTAX Link series of smartphone printers through Bluetooth, allowing the creation of physical prints from images captured with the camera.

Furthermore, the Instax Pal comes bundled with a "Multifunction Ring Accessory," which serves as a simplified viewfinder, a camera stand, and a strap to prevent accidental drops.

The camera supports a selection of formats (mini, SQUARE, and WIDE) for shooting and printing, adding further versatility to the photographic process. Images captured can be automatically transferred to a dedicated app on a paired smartphone, making it seamless for users to share their creations on social media platforms.

Flipbook-Style Videos of Fujifilm INSTAX Pal

The Instax Pal also introduces unique features, such as an animation function that creates flipbook-style videos from multiple images. These videos can be played by scanning a QR code on an INSTAX print.

With a built-in lithium-ion battery that offers approximately 240 frames per charge, the INSTAX Pal provides a reliable power source. It is charged via a USB Type-C terminal, with a charging cable included.

Furthermore, the camera offers an option to save images internally, with a capacity for up to 50 photos. When a microSD card, which is sold separately, is inserted, images can also be stored on the card.
