"Vampire Survivors" is nearing to release another wave of updates soon, but its creator is not yet sure what content to release in the next roadmap.

"Vampire Survivors" is on the brink of another thrilling update that promises to take your gaming experience to new heights. The best part about the upcoming content is a fresh look at the map and other in-game features.

While fans are excited about the next update, the VS creator admits that the team is still clueless about what kind of features or changes they should bring next to the game.

'Vampire Survivors' Much-Awaited Update

While the exact release date remains a mystery, the following "Vampire Survivors" update is scheduled to arrive soon. This immediately drives the community crazier into thinking that the creators are "cooking" something about the game.

In preparation for this eagerly awaited update, Poncle, the creative force behind "Vampire Survivors," decided to host an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Reddit. This provided an ideal platform for players and fans to pose questions and delve deeper into what lies ahead for Vampire Survivors once the upcoming update has had its time in the spotlight.

During the discussion, Luca Galante, known as poncle_luca on Reddit, shed light on the plans for the game.

"We'll keep it simple and gameplay-focused. We might try a few things, but we won't suddenly start building something with a completely different scope. We have plans, but they're pretty much like the updates plan for VS: we work on several different things at the same time, until one suddenly starts picking up speed organically because it feels like the right thing to do at that time, and so we focus on shipping that one." Galante wrote.

While specifics may still be up in the air, one thing is clear: Vampire Survivors is not ready to bid farewell to its devoted player base, per TechRadar.

With the Chaos Roadmap extending until the close of 2024, players can look forward to an abundance of engaging content to ensure that the world of Vampire Survivors continues to captivate and surprise both newcomers and veterans.

Unity is Out For 'Vampire Survivors' Dev

With the fiasco surrounding Unity, developers wanted to withdraw from using the popular game engine.

According to Tech Times, many indie game studios lambasted Unity for its initial price scheme. After the backlash, the "runtime fee" that Unity wanted to charge for every game installation is now revised.

Unity Create CEO Marc Whitten apologized for the changes that affect the small game creators. Despite the adjustments, not all developers are convinced about this move.

According to GamesRadar, "Vampire Survivors" developers said that they won't trust Unity while it's under the current leadership.

In a Reddit AMA, Galante responded with a "lol no thank you" when he was asked if the team will work once again with Unity.

Apart from that, Galante expects that the devs will experiment with other game engines as they move forward.
