Korea Economic Daily has reported that Samsung is planning to launch its first take on Cloud Gaming this week, a service that will be accessible via Galaxy devices including phones and tablets.

The planned launch will take place at the Samsung Developer Conference happening this Thursday, October 5, in San Francisco, California.

It has been reported that Samsung is planning to have as many as 1 billion devices receiving this cloud gaming experience after early tests appear in a good light. As a cloud-based game streaming experience, this would no longer require users to download the game, moving past its offers of native gaming which is still available on the device.

Only a Galaxy device and a stable internet connection are needed.

Samsung Galaxy Devices for Cloud Gaming

Android Central regarded that Samsung devices are set to get the Cloud Gaming experience soon, and this centers on the Galaxy lineup including smartphones and tablets. This service was already made available via a beta public testing program that launched in North America, including the US and Canada.

Previously, Samsung already expressed its support for Cloud Gaming, with its Smart TVs able to stream games from NVIDIA's GeForce Now.

Cloud Gaming Services Now

Almost all platforms are supported by cloud gaming services that are available now, and there are many offers from various companies that bring these significant experiences to users. Among the many offers in the world, Xbox Cloud Gaming is one of the most popular services available, with the company leveraging several exclusive games available in this service.

There is also the Amazon Luna which was a game changer during its early days, and this was because it extended the experience to iPhones, one that previously had significant rules that kept Google out.

NVIDIA's GeForce Now service is also among the top regarded, considered by some as the best, and this was because of its wide offers, including Xbox PC Game Pass titles.

Intel delivered its experience last year, but Sony is still only rumored for its cloud gaming service, with this playing a massive role as more people shift from native gaming to this experience. Samsung is another company rumored to bring this experience, with its promising tech dedicated for its Galaxy devices to access soon, with an official confirmation yet to surface.
