The upcoming sale of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is coming on October 11, but early sales are already here, including the latest AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C which Apple updated, seeing its lowest price yet. The good thing is, that users do not need to be Amazon Prime members to take advantage of this new deal, with it available for the public to purchase in the US.

While not much has changed with the latest release of the AirPods Pro 2, it is still worth purchasing if you already rely on USB-C as your main charging tech.

The latest listing on Amazon for the AirPods Pro 2 sees a significant discount that drops the price to $199.99, from its original price of $249.99, giving the public as much as $50 off in this sale. This is already the updated version that comes with USB-C, the latest of what Apple has to offer that centers on this transition to the universal charging cable and port.

MacRumors spotted this deal, saying that it went ahead of the planned 2-day sale event from Amazon called the Prime Big Day Deals.

This sale for the AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C is also the lowest price of the device in the market now, available for those interested in making the change.

Should You Buy the New AirPods Pro 2?

The new AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C's top change is its new charging port, but it also adds a few tweaks to make the experience overall better. First off, it also added better dust resistance to it, effectively prolonging its life span, as well as the new support for lossless audio with the Vision Pro that is set to release next year.

It is a good deal if you are a heavy USB-C supporter and user, with the port already available to you, but you could also stick with your existing one with the Lightning port to avoid additional purchases.

Apple's Shift to USB-C

The most talked about development in technology now is Apple's shift to USB-C, and this was because a renowned stalwart in this change, the iPhone series, has caved into the world's standards. Apple had a lot of opportunities to shift to USB-C, but they only did so after many years of keeping their focus on the Lightning chargers for the previous devices.

The good thing with this is that more devices are seeing its update to USB-C and the Lightning era for Apple is coming to an end soon, with more left-behind tech soon to see its adoption. Even the wired Apple earphones known as the EarPods also released its USB-C version, previously centering on the Lightning cable for its direct connection to the smartphone.

Among what Apple released with the USB-C update is the AirPods Pro 2, and it was previously speculated that the Cupertino giant would pick one AirPods device in the series to update to the new ports. With interconnectivity possible to use one charger that rules them all, the AirPods Pro 2 is a good buy, especially with its $50 discount on Amazon.
