Probably one of the most anticipated Tesla EVs in history, the futuristic and odd-looking Cybertruck of the company is coming this year, slated for a launch event later this 2023 to formally bring the electric car. For almost five years, the Tesla Cybertruck has seen massive delays since it was first announced in 2018, and officially introduced by the company in 2019.

This massive announcement finally gives the public what it highly awaits, especially as massive orders were already placed for this unique electric pickup from Tesla.

Tesla's X account has announced significant information coming from its Q3 2023 Shareholder Update where it confirmed that the Cybertruck is coming this year. Particularly, the company will hold an official launch event by November 30 in its Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, where it will formally unveil the electric pickup to the world.

Alongside this, Tesla confirmed that the first deliveries would roll out come the end of November during the event, meaning that some pre-order buyers will get to receive the first iterations of the Cybertruck.

It is unknown how much Tesla has already produced for the Cybertruck, with the company revealing the units it would roll out come the Cybertruck event by next month.

Will We See a Regular Production, Availability?

According to Tesla, the Cybertruck production remains "on track for later this year," which means that its first batch of deliverables would see its regular availability for initial orders. However, it was not confirmed if the company could already provide the Cybertruck to more than thousands of initial pre-orders, with more information expected come the November event.

Tesla and its Cybertruck Electric Pickup

The Tesla Cybertruck is one of the long-awaited electric pickups of our time, and this was because there were several times when it was teased or claimed to be already coming, but did not arrive for the world. It saw various setbacks in its production, parts availability, components, and the leadership behind it, with Tesla enduring all the tests and challenges in delivering the EV.

It missed various years from 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, initially speculated to release in these past years to face its rivals from other automakers including Ford, GM, Rivian, and more. Fans, insiders, and speculators closely followed the Cybertruck's development, and earlier this year, it was spotted to conduct its final winter testing in New Zealand, speculated for a release this year or early 2024.

Now, the time has finally come when Elon Musk, along with Tesla, to put their chins up and proudly confirm that the Cybertruck is coming later this year for its first official unveiling, centering on its public availability. Come November 30, either watching online via its live stream or going to Gigafactory Texas, the world will see the anticipated Cybertruck, with the first shipments arriving to customers.
