In case you missed it, Square Enix has recently provided the world with a massive update for one of its most famous game franchises, centering on the new teaser images for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link. Note that these are images, with emphasis on the S, where two photos were released by the company showing the castle, and another one featuring a site that is under construction.

Many expect that this new teaser will shortly bring additional information to the highly-anticipated game, with beliefs for its 2023 availability.

Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link Unveils Teaser Images

Without any context or captions, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link's official X account has posted an image that contains a construction site in the foreground, and a castle in the background. Right in the middle of the photo, it showed "#KMHL" which is the game's initials put into a hashtag.

It remains unknown what Square Enix and the KMHL team are trying to convey to the audience, but it is a teaser of the upcoming game.

Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link Release Date?

Many are already expecting the game to arrive this 2023 or at least reveal its release date before the year ends. It was regarded that Tetsuya Nomura, a Square Enix and Kingdom Hearts executive, has revealed that the iOS test for Missing-Link was already completed earlier this year.

It is important to note that Square's mobile test only gave out 70 percent of its functions and 50 percent of the UI, but none of the game's story. That being said, Square Enix is still keeping everything under wraps, including what it will bring and its release date despite the latest teaser.

Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts

For the longest time, Kingdom Hearts was a game that was made for the PlayStation platform, with the first game from 2002 first released on the PS2 and debuted the series to the world. Square Enix did not limit itself to the PlayStation as it already branched out to the Xbox, and Nintendo consoles, with several of its games also made exclusively for the mobile Android and iOS platforms.

Also, it was only in 2021 when Square Enix made Kingdom Hearts' first game available on the PC platform, but it was a game that was also well-received by fans and newcomers to the franchise.

The game's famed creative director, Tetsuya Nomura, has previously teased that the game is coming by 2022, and that is with Kingdom Hearts IV, a mainline game from the franchise, but remains under development.

The company already owes its fans and enthusiasts two games in the present, and that is with KHIV and the upcoming KHML, the recently-teased title from the company. While these teasers bring no additional details to users, one could assume that it is still under development by the company, highlighting the construction site, with reports expecting additional details from Square Enix shortly.
