The new subscription tiers on X are now here, and these were the additions that Elon Musk talked about in the past few weeks, now having a total of three monthly payment tiers for users to choose from. The X Premium subscription stands, now being the mid-tier option for users who want the verification checkmark alongside the premium features, but now enters the Basic and Premium+ tiers.

X now announced the new tiers and prices for its subscription platform, X Premium, adding two options for users to enjoy and choose from for their improved use.

X Basic is now the lowest-priced subscription tier that will give users an experience of the many features available on social media including Edit Posts, Long-form posts, Undo posts, Large video uploads, Top Articles, Readyer, Background video playback, Download videos, and a small reply boost.

What the Basic does not have is the blue verification checkmark and the Creator Hub, and it still comes with ads, all for the low price of $3 per month or a discounted $32 per year.

X Premium+ on the other hand, gets all the features mentioned above, but it will feature the "largest" reply boost for users, no ads entirely, the Creator Hub, and all that X has to offer, for a massive $16/month or $168 a year.

X Premium Remains as the Mid Tier

What remains on X's mid-tier is the original X Premium, a.k.a. the Twitter Blue and the father of all monthly payments on the platform, which now centers on half the ads less than Premium+, lower reply boost, but offers nifty features like the Creator Hub and the verification.

The mid-tier stays at $8 monthly and $84 annually for its discounted rate.

X Monthly Payments for Users

In the first year of Elon Musk as the owner and chief of X, formerly Twitter, the first thing he introduced was the Twitter Blue subscription's verification payments that ask for $8 to $11 for users, depending on their platform. It was via this service that Musk included the many new features that X has to offer, bringing other new additions to the platform for all its premium offers.

Less than a year later, and with many premium features joining Twitter Blue, the renowned social media platform changed its name to X, and so came the new name for its subscription. Initially, people were confused as to what to call it, with some referring to it as X Blue, and some calling it the X Pro, but it is the X Premium, and for several months, it went solo as X's subscription option.

Before these three tiers to get the many features and experiences on X, the platform only had Free and Premium to choose from, with users given a chance to stay subscription-less or on X Premium. Now, this subscription tier evolved into three options for the short-word social media, offering the X Basic, X Premium, and X Premium+ for users to enjoy.
